The following are the Nodal Institutions identified by the FOSSEE GIS project and the Rural Data Research and Analysis (RuDRA) Lab teams from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay for empowering women with Open Source-based Geospatial Skills through the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT), Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The identified institutions are associated with the FOSSEE GIS (NMEICT) project and the RuDRA Lab for various initiatives since 2020 and have exhibited their commitment to adopting Open Source as part of their academic curriculum and outreach. Effective June 2026, FOSSEE GIS has been rechristened as Geospatial FOSSEE to accommodate additional activities in the domain of Geospatial Science and Technology.
